Congratulations to Sylvain and Asha on the birth of their third child, a baby boy! It seems like we’ve been praying and waiting for this guy for a long time and now he’s finally here. He was born on Tuesday the 12th of December at 3AM. I was awakened by a phone call from Sylvain at 6AM. I could hear the pride and joy in his voice as he told me that the baby was born healthy and that they’d named him Brian Mukanda Kabwanga. Wow, my namesake! I’m surprised and very honored. I stopped to visit them at the clinic tonight after work. He was a healthy 8.3 pounds. Asha has some recovering to do, but all is well. Praise God!
